Information we collect

We only collect what we need in order to quote and deliver cleaning services:

• Contact information: your name, phone number and email address.
• Service information: your service address, the size and condition of your home, the service and frequency you want, your preferred dates, and any access instructions or preferences you give us.
• Communication records: the messages, emails and calls between us, together with notes about your home so that your cleaner can work from them.
• Consent records: if you opt in to text messages, we record that you consented, the date and time, and the exact wording you agreed to.
• Basic website data: the page you submitted a form from and the site that referred you, used to understand which pages are useful.

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Payment is arranged separately after service.

How we use your information

• To prepare and send you a quote.
• To schedule, deliver and follow up on cleaning services.
• To contact you about your appointment, including confirmations, reminders and changes.
• To respond to your questions and resolve any problems with a clean.
• To keep the records we are required to keep as a business, including proof of messaging consent.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.

Mobile information and text messaging

If you check the SMS consent box on our quote form, you are agreeing to receive text messages from Sheridan Cleaning Co. LLC at the phone number you provided, about your quote and your service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (224) 716-4991 or sheridancleaningco@gmail.com.

Consenting to text messages is entirely optional and is never a condition of purchasing any service from us. Full messaging terms are set out in our Messaging Terms.

When we share information

We share your information only in these limited situations:

• With our cleaners: the staff assigned to your home receive your address, access instructions and notes about your home. Nothing more.
• With service providers: the vendors that run our scheduling, email, messaging and payment systems, who may process your information only to provide those services to us.
• Where the law requires it: in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the safety, rights or property of any person.

We never sell your personal information, and we never rent or trade it for marketing purposes. As stated above, text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, for any purpose.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. It loads a web font from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for that font file. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy before doing so.

How long we keep information

We keep client records for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up where we left off if you return. Records of messaging consent are retained for as long as we are required to hold them. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

Security

Access to client records is limited to the people who need it in order to serve you. Keys are held on numbered tags with no address, name or other identifying information attached. Lockbox and garage codes are stored in your client record and shared only with the cleaner assigned to your home. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the safeguarding of home access information seriously because of what it protects.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Opt out of text messages by replying STOP, at any time.
• Opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link, at any time.

Children

Our services and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy
