Who we are

Sheridan Cleaning Co. LLC is a residential cleaning company based in Lincolnshire, Illinois. We clean private homes, condominiums and apartments for families across Lincolnshire, Vernon Hills, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Riverwoods and Long Grove.

We are not a franchise. There is no national call centre routing your request to whichever crew is nearest, and no corporate script. When you call, you reach people who know the roads, know the housing stock, and in many cases have already cleaned homes on your street.

We have also chosen to stay small enough that quality does not depend on luck. Growing faster than we can vet and train cleaners is the most reliable way for a company like ours to get worse, and it is the reason so many cleaning services are excellent for a year and then unrecognisable.

How we hire

Every cleaner who enters a client's home has passed a criminal background check. That is the floor, not the standard. Beyond it we look for people who will still be here in three years, because the entire value of our recurring service depends on the same person returning to the same home.

New cleaners train alongside an experienced lead before working independently, and they work from a written checklist on every visit, not from memory and not from whatever they happened to notice on the way in.

What we clean with

We bring everything: vacuums, microfibre, and a full kit of products matched to the surfaces in your home. That matters more than it sounds. The wrong product on luxury vinyl plank, natural stone, original hardwood or aged grout causes damage that cleaning cannot undo, and a crew working fast with one all-purpose spray is exactly how it happens.

Fragrance-free and low-toxicity products are available at no extra charge for households with sensitivities, young children, pets, or simply a preference. Ask once and it becomes a permanent note on your home, so every cleaner who ever visits works from it. If you would rather we use products you have bought yourself, leave them out and we will.

Insurance, bonding and your keys

We carry liability insurance and our cleaners are bonded. If your condominium or townhome association requires a certificate of insurance before a vendor works on site, send us their contact details and required coverage amounts and we will get it filed with them directly. You should not have to chase paperwork between two companies.

If you give us a key, it is held on a numbered tag with no address, name or identifying information attached to it. Lockbox and garage codes are stored in your client record and shared only with the cleaner assigned to your home.

Our guarantee

If something was missed or is not up to standard, tell us within 24 hours and we come back and re-clean that area free. No argument, no invoice, no asking you to prove it. We would rather absorb the cost of a return visit than have you quietly decide we are not worth rebooking.
