Kitchen deep detail
- Inside the oven, degreased and scrubbed
- Inside the refrigerator, shelves and drawers washed
- Inside all cabinets and drawers (emptied surfaces wiped, if cleared for us)
- Range hood filter degreased; hood interior cleaned
- Backsplash grout scrubbed
- Small appliances detailed: toaster crumb trays, coffee maker, blender base
- Cabinet fronts fully degreased, not just spot-cleaned
- Behind and beside the range and refrigerator, where they can be safely moved
Bathroom deep detail
- Tile and grout scrubbed line by line
- Hard-water and mineral deposits treated on glass, fixtures and shower tracks
- Shower head descaled
- Behind and around the toilet base, including bolt caps
- Exhaust fan cover removed, washed and dusted
- Inside medicine cabinets and vanity drawers (if cleared)
- Baseboards and door frames washed
- Floor edges and corners hand-scrubbed rather than mopped
Whole-home detail
- All baseboards hand-wiped throughout
- Door frames, doors and door tops cleaned
- Light switch plates and outlet covers disinfected
- Ceiling fan blades and light fixtures dusted and wiped
- Vent and register covers dusted
- Window sills, tracks and interior glass within reach
- Under and behind movable furniture vacuumed
- Stair spindles, railings and banisters wiped
- Cobwebs removed from ceiling corners and crown molding
- Upholstery vacuumed including under cushions
- Interior of accessible closets floor-vacuumed
How long a deep clean takes
Plan on roughly four to eight hours for a typical Lincolnshire home, depending on square footage, number of bathrooms, and how long it has been since the last thorough cleaning. We usually send a larger team so the whole job finishes in one day rather than stretching across two.
Condition matters more than size here. A well-kept 4,000 square foot home can take less time than a 2,200 square foot home that has not had a detailed clean in three years. That is why deep cleans are quoted after we understand the specific house, not off a square-footage table alone.

We would rather set the expectation up front than have you discover it afterwards. Several of these can be added on request. Just ask.
- Exterior windows and any interior glass needing a full ladder
- Wall washing beyond spot-cleaning (whole-wall washing can be quoted)
- Carpet shampooing or hot-water extraction
- Moving heavy furniture (appliances and furniture we cannot safely slide stay put)
- Cleaning inside cabinets or drawers that are still full
- Mold remediation, pest issues, or biohazard cleanup
- Chandeliers or fixtures requiring disassembly
Deep Cleaning questions
How is a deep clean different from a regular clean?
A regular clean maintains what is visible: surfaces, floors, fixtures, bathrooms. A deep clean adds the accumulated build-up underneath: baseboards, grout, inside the oven and refrigerator, light fixtures, vents, door frames, window sills, and behind movable furniture. It takes roughly two to three times as long and costs proportionally more.
How often should I get one?
If you are on recurring service, once or twice a year is plenty, typically spring and again before the holidays. If you are not on a recurring schedule, most homes benefit from a deep clean every three to four months, because there is no maintenance cleaning in between holding the line.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Clearing counters, cabinet interiors and closet floors of items you want us to clean under makes a real difference, because we clean around whatever is left in place. Beyond that, no. You do not need to pre-clean; that is what you are hiring us for.
Can you deep clean just one or two rooms?
Yes. Kitchen-and-bathrooms-only deep cleans are common, and they are often the highest-value option because those two rooms hold the most build-up. Tell us which rooms and we will quote just those.
