Working with your building
A one-bedroom typically runs about one and a half to two hours; a two-bedroom, two-bath around two to three. Send us your management company's requirements when you book and we will get a certificate of insurance issued and on file with them directly.
If your building requires service elevator reservations or has a fixed vendor access window, tell us that up front so we can schedule inside it. Turning up to a building that will not let us in wastes your morning as well as ours, and it is entirely avoidable with one message at booking.
Not included in this service
We would rather set the expectation up front than have you discover it afterwards. Several of these can be added on request. Just ask.
- Common areas, hallways, lobbies or shared laundry rooms
- Exterior windows, and any window a building prohibits vendors from opening
- Balcony power washing or railing exterior work
- Anything the building's rules explicitly prohibit vendors from doing
- Inside the refrigerator or oven unless added to the visit
- Storage lockers or parking spaces
Apartment & Condo Cleaning questions
Can you provide a certificate of insurance for my building?
Yes, and it is a routine request. Give us your management company's contact details and required coverage amounts and we will have the COI issued and sent to them directly. Allow a few business days before your first visit for the paperwork to clear.
Do you clean rental units between tenants?
We do, for both landlords and tenants. For a full turnover with the unit empty, our move-in / move-out cleaning is the better fit, because it includes inside all cabinets, appliances and closets, which a standard visit does not.
Is a condo cheaper than a house?
Usually, because there is less total square footage and fewer bathrooms. But price tracks bathrooms and kitchen condition more than raw floor area, so a compact two-bathroom condo can price similarly to a small single-family home with the same fixture count.
What if my building requires visitor check-in?
No problem at all. Just add us to your guest list or let the desk know the company name. Tell us which entrance to use and where to park, since guest parking at many buildings around Lincolnshire and Vernon Hills is limited and permit-controlled.
